From the term after their third birthday children are entitled to 15 hours a week of funding through the Government. (The Pre School claims this money from the Government on behalf of each qualifying child). This can be used to cover sessions and lunch sessions as you wish. If your child attends the preschool for more than 15 hours a week there will be a charge of £4.00 an hour. We open for 3.5 hours a session, plus 0.5 hours for lunch (optional). This allows us to provide extra quality pre school learning time for the children in our care. Cross Hayes is a charity and no profit is made. Our rent, staffing and insurance costs must all be met by the Government grant and termly fees. We also accept children who receive Government funding from age 2.
We accept childcare vouchers against fee costs from a variety of voucher providers. Many employers run schemes that provide vouchers to their staff free of tax and national insurance. This can potentially save an employee over £1000 a year.
